Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free Community tier covers up to 100 items across product, category, shop and blog-post pages with five base templates plus the Black Friday and Seasonal Offer product templates. Its covers are clean — no plan carries a watermark, Community included. Community renders on the shared Community server and is bounded by store/IP rate limits rather than by branding. Paid plans use a dedicated server separate from Community, raise the item allowance and unlock additional templates and capabilities (rating badges from Starter, metafield mapping from Pro, scoped rules and priority rendering from Scale). Community does not require Stripe Checkout. Covers are rendered on FastOG's own service and delivered from FastOG's own cache and edge.
Does Facebook show my updated cover automatically?
Yes. Facebook keeps its cached preview until something tells it the page changed, which is why an edited product usually shows the old card for weeks. FastOG registers WooCommerce's own product webhooks, so saving a product asks Facebook to re-scrape that page and the new cover normally replaces the old preview within seconds — no Sharing Debugger needed. Facebook is the only platform that offers a programmatic refresh, and we are honest about the rest: WhatsApp, LinkedIn and X give us no way to request one, so we make sure the correct image is waiting for their next read and they refresh on their own schedule.
Do I need WooCommerce to use the plugin?
No. Without WooCommerce the plugin covers your front page and blog posts from WordPress data alone. WooCommerce adds the storefront page types — product, product category and shop covers read your catalogue, so those three need it installed and active.
Will this slow down my site?
No. Covers are rendered and cached on FastOG and served from there, so your server only signs a URL. There are no images generated or stored on your hosting, and no heavyweight Chrome or Puppeteer processes ever run on your WordPress server.
